I read a lot of your emails and you are doing a great job. I'm not the man (or woman) to take over. I hope
a natural leader will come forward and take over the advocacy group. I'm too spread out with all my things and my wife
is already about to kick my butt... And my health has not been too good. I get a lot of chronic pain from
a 1970 terrorist bomb blast from my CAP village. Years ago, when I weight lifted, the muscle kept the
pain away for some reason. I have to get away from this computer and back in the gym. My wife
and daughter are grabbing me by my ears to go.
Once we get better organized, I want to have the group vote people into positions so that we can really succeed.
Why
don't you join our group and become one of our moderators and maybe a future officer. We need a strong PTSD advocate
group.
We are all in this together!
The War on Terror has wounded over 98,000 new PTSD vets.

Americans_Who_Support_PTSD_Veterans: Hi
Welcome, Christine
I'm Jack Cunningham, a Vietnam PTSD disabled
veteran. I started the PTSD advocacy group, because there is no advocacy group for disabled PTSD veterans.
We have a number of support groups, message boards and websites, but nothing for PTSD advocacy.
And we need it.
Before
this War on Terror, all American veterans were not thought of too highly. American society had only Rambo
as a guideline to know PTSD Veterans. The stigma connected to being PTSD disabled was strong. Over
the years, the jokes connected to PTSD vets were disgusting... especially the one about milking the American system.
Many times, federal and state levels of government and employees are
the worse discriminators against PTSD sufferers.
PTSD is bad enough,
we don't need to be discriminated against... even if it is just the stupid jokes. I don't want to see this crap
happening to the new PTSD sufferers. If it is not stopped now, it will continue until it is stopped.

[Americans_Who_Support_PTSD_Veterans] Hi
Hi, I am new
to this group. Like to hear about other people experiences. Thanks, Christine
Americans Who Support
PTSD Veterans
Our group is open to veterans as well as their families, their friends and appreciative-supporters.
There is still a major stigma on PTSD veterans. We need an advocacy group. We also need reasonable, PTSD disability accommodations.
We are a major, forgotten group of honorable veterans. The different levels of federal and state governments are our worse
discriminators. Yet there are more veterans wounded with PTSD than any other type of combat wound...
There are NO current
disability accommodations for the PTSD disabled, so many PTSD veterans are never heard.
It's time that PTSD veterans,
their families, their friends and their supporters are heard.
Thank You,

Especially, if this person, who is being denied his or her
rights, is a honorable disabled PTSD veteran.
There are more veterans
wounded with PTSD than any other type of combat wound... According
to Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) estimates, there are over 98,000 new PTSD Vets. If it is true about this
98,000 new PTSD Veterans, then THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS SHOULD INVESTIGATE WHY THIS
NUMBER IS SO HIGH.

YET FEDERAL POLITICIANS STAY QUIET.
The United States Military taught us many things, but never taught us
how to give-up and quit.
