Not Sure.
Jane Fonda did the same
thing during the Vietnam War and she got away with it.

Jane Fonda's Treason
Some people are of the opinion that the treasonous actions
of Jane Fonda during the Vietnam War helped save lives.
Nothing could be further from the truth. She did several
things though. She demoralize the troops. Helped the anti-war movement in the U.S. and provided the North Vietimease
military with propaganda material for their people and the world. In recent years General Giap has stated that
after the disaster of the Tet Offensive of 1968 and our later bombing campaign of the north that they were on the brink of
giving up.
If Jane did anything she helped cause the death of thousands
at the hands of the North Vietimease and the millions of people by the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. She is no hero
she is a only disgrace to the human race!
