Obstruction of Justice
A criminal offense that involves interference,
through words or actions, with the proper operations of a court or officers of the court.
At the center of my charges are Robert Correale (NJ Supreme
Court Attorney Ethics official), his former law firm, Maynard & Truland, the New Jersey State Politicians, State Judges and State Officials, who have been protecting them for ten (10) years.
these ten years, many people have asked me what do I want out of my charges... All I want
is justice. I want criminal justice, ethics justice and civil justice.
I hired the law firm Maynard & Truland to represent me in a divorce case that my ex-wife initiated. Being
a disabled PTSD Vietnam Veteran, I was terrified about losing custody of my two minors. With 22 days to file,
I paid the law firm the accepted retainer and begged the law firm to do their job. Their divorce attorney told
me to calm down that he was a professional and knew his job. A few days after the meeting, I didn't receive
the papers to sign, so I started calling the divorce lawyer, but he never got on the phone. Three times, I talked to
the law firm's office manager. She told me not to worry that their divorce lawyer knew his job.
You probably guessed by now what happened… The law firm screwed up big time. I was in
a panic about losing my two kids. Besides other things, the divorce attorney Edward Busichio had
me fall into divorce default, over-charged me and charged me for divorce default removal. The default was due
to the Maynard & Truland divorce attorney’s gross negligence. (Why should
I be paying for his mistakes?) They had me a basket case. In desperation, I wrote to
my local New Jersey Supreme Court Office of Attorney Ethics committee – District X, complaining about the unethical
behavior of the Maynard & Truland law firm. With my complaint letter, I attached
three letters that I had already sent to Robert Correale and his law firm, along with official, federal Department of Veterans
Affairs medical records. (You can read two of the letters from me to the Maynard & Truland Attorneys below.) After Maynard
& Truland had me fall into default, the law firm’s supervising partners switched my representation (Without my permission
and knowledge) from their divorce lawyer, Robert Busichio to a general-practice
attorney, Robert Correale, who happened to work for them and
was also the local New Jersey Supreme Court Attorney Ethics Vice-Chairman. Robert Correale and Maynard & Truland carried a great deal of influence
around all New Jersey courts. When I received an answer from Robert Correale’s and my Attorney Ethics committee,
there was no mention of a Conflict of Interest. (Correale
was Vice-Chairman of the committee. This is where the Cover-Up started for the State of New Jersey... right in the office of the Supreme Court.)
Sixty-nine days into the contract (According to Maynard & Truland invoices), Robert Correale first started working to remove
me from their negligent divorce-default. Four months
into the contract, I was still in default. I had to write to the judge in order to get removed from divorce default.
Robert Correale had me proof read his secretaries typing of a court document and then he charged me for my time.
The ethics violations continued and the VA wanted me hospitalized for 45 days from the extra stress
they were causing me. Robert Correale asked me not to enter the hospital. He said it would be too hard for him to contact me. I did not trust
him or his law, so I decided to postpone the help. About two weeks later, during divorce arbitration, I had to handle my case, because Robert
Correale came to court unprepared. I got what
I wanted and so did my ex-wife, although Robert Correale sat quiet for over 3 hours. (He charged
me for his time at the inflated rate.) I refused to pay Maynard & Truland the rest of the money they said I owed them. They
were worse than crooks. I tried to move on with my life the best I could. A
few days before Christmas, I received a court document stating there was a Superior Court case against me.
Maynard & Truland took me to court for the rest of the money ($1,600). I counter sued Maynard & Truland and
Robert Correale for legal malpractice. I represented myself PRO SE, because I could not get a law firm to go after
another law firm that had the local NJ Supreme Court Vice-Chairman of Attorney Ethics working for them. Vice-Chairman
Robert Correale represented his law firm during the back-billing case.
After reading all my evidence (VA Medical records, court documents, the firm's own invoices and contract, court
filed letters, etc.) NJ Superior Court Judge Ronald Graves determined
that my charges warranted the Law Division for damages. Judge Ronald Graves made his decision over the objections
of Robert Correale. Strangely, the court transcript could not be typed, because the court clerk lost her notes to what the judge said. http://www.americans-working-together.com/id111.html I brought my Legal
Malpractice case up to the law division and lost, because my case had no proof of merit, since Superior Court Judge Ronald
Graves's decision was lost. (Both cases and judges were in the same court house.) New Jersey Superior
Court - Appeals Division placed a Gag Order on me not to release information about my appeal. The Supreme Court of NJ cleared Robert Correale and his law firm of all charges in spite of all the evidence against them. Correale and his fellow Maynard & Truland
attorneys committed clear perjury in Supreme Court certifications. http://www.americans-working-together.com/attorney_ethics/id50.html Robert
Correale also openly mocked me for my PTSD disability in his sworn certifications. http://www.americans-working-together.com/attorney_ethics/id21.html
A CRIMINAL CASE, ETHICS CASE, CIVIL CASE OR ALL THREE...
A high level state Supreme Court attorney ethics official, Robert
Correale misuses his
government and court office to Cover-Up and block ethics violations and legal malpractice charges against his own law firm, Maynard
& Truland. After seven years, the Cover-Up leads all the way up to the Governor's
General's Office, an United
States Senator and the state's
Supreme Court and Superior
Below is a copy of the first letter I sent to Maynard & Truland.
Even after sending the above letter, I never received return letters
or phone calls from any member of the Maylarnd & Truland law firm. But I was receiving notices from Superior Court
and my former wife's attorney that I was in divorce default, because of my lack of answering the original divorce papers.
I was terrified of losing my custody rights for my two minor children.
I signed the Maynard & Truland contract on September 6, 2000. I fell into a divorce
default because of the law firm's divorce attorney Edward Busichio's gross negligence on September 28, 2000.
Around November 15, 2000, I received the first communications from a Maynard & Truland
attorney. It was not from their divorce attorney Edward Busichio or his supervising partner Joe Truland.
The letter was from Robert Correale, a general-practice attorney of the firm. Robert Correale letter notified
me that he was working on my divorce default removal.
I did not understand or know why Correale was writing to
me, but I was relieved that someone in the law firm was writing to me. It was the first real communication since I signed
their contract on September 6, 2000.
I did not receive any phone calls or written responses from any Maynard
& Truland employees on the above letter. I was still in Divorce Default due to Edward Busichio's gross negligence,
but nothing was being explained to me... Including how I fell into divorce default in the first place.
Because I was still in default and not receiving proper communications from
my own law firm, I was still terrified about losing my two minor children. This lack of attorney professionalism
was the complete topic at my VA therapy sessions with Doctor Lawrence Kolman. (It's well documented in my
VA medical records.)
I sent a third letter to the Maynard & Truland attorneys.
I still hadn't received phone calls or
return letters answering my questions about:
to my divorce attorney Edward Busichio...
I still in default, three months after signing the Maynard & Truland Contract and paying the agreed upon retainer...
Why was I in default in the
Why couldn't Maynard & Truland
admit to the Superior Court Family Division judge that Edward Busichio was negligent, so I would be released from default...
At the time, I was desparate for answers.
I started writing attorney groups and was sent the address of my local New Jersey Supreme Court's Office of Attorney Ethics.
It was going on four (4) months into the
Maynard & Truland contract and I was still in divorce default. The real divorce work wasn't even started yet.
General-practice attorney Robert Correale was still working on default removal, but I was never notified by the law firm what
happened to divorce attorney Edward Busichio.
And now, general practice attorney Robert Correale started
billing me for Default Removal, even though it was due to Edward Busichio's negligence. And to make matters worse,
Robert Correale was charging me $25 more per hour than his law firm's contract stated. He wasn't even my
Maynard & Truland was a professional law firm that
advertised their firm on the entire back cover of my local telephone book. I could not understand why they
would do this.
Robert Correale was over-charging
me for Busichio's negligence. I was afraid to learn what was next.
I needed Maynard & Truland to
start acting like professional attorneys. The stress was tremendous. (And it was all unnecessary.)
Unknown to me at the time
(But Known To Them), general-practice attorney Robert Correale of the Maynard & Truland law firm was the local
Vice-Chairman of New Jersey's Supreme Court's Office of Attorney Ethics. DISTRICT X
I sent a complaint letter about Robert
Correale and his Maynard & Truland law firm to the committee that he himself was second-in-command of... This
is a Major Conflict of Interest.
Looking back, it's easy to see why Maynard
& Truland's law partners switched my case (Without my permission) to general-practice attorney Robert Correale.
You could say Robert Correale, Esq. carried some sway in the New Jersey Supreme Court and Superior Court systems.
Robert Correale could do anything with
my case and charge me what he wanted for his law firm. Back before 9-11, who would believe a PTSD Vietnam veteran
over the Vice Chairman of New Jersey's Supreme Court Office of Attorney Ethics. If I filed a complaint through
the Office of Attorney Ethics, Correale didn't care. He was the vice-chairman of the committee.
BASED ON NEW JERSEY'S SUPREME COURT LAW, I WAS FORCED TO
GO THROUGH THE LOCAL ATTORNEY ETHICS COMMITTEE.
It explains why in spite of my letters
and phone calls, Robert Correale didn't start any work on default removal until sixty-nine (69) days into the Maynard &
Truland contract. (All the facts are found on the Maynard & Truland's own Invoices.)
When you are "King of the Legal Hill"
nobody can touch you.
My first letter to New Jersey's Office
of Attorney Ethics was clear. I attached my letters that I had already sent Maynard & Truland, along with
official Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) documents.
I already had an appointment lined up
to be interviewed by the VA for entrance into a 45 day in-hospital stay for exacerbated PTSD. I was looking for some
stress relief from the Supreme Court of New Jersey's Office of Attorney Ethics. (Again, this is all well-documented
through VA medical records.)
Ms. Bonnie Frost's letter
did not mention Robert Correale's and District X's Conflict of Interest. The Conflict of Interest was finally
admitted to about two years later, after hundreds of my letters to the director of New Jersey's Supreme Court Office of Attorney
Ethics, the Governor, his Attorney General, and local New Jersey State politicians.
After receiving New Jersey's Office of
Attorney Ethics' letter, to say the least, I was devastated and felt completely alone. I was looking forward for stress
relief. I still had my interview to be admitted to a VA hospital for 45 days on January 8, 2001.
Although Robert Correale called and
informed that I was out of divorce default, I received an official document from Superior Court that I was still in default
and that I had a default court hearing on January 9, 2001. I wanted to go to the hearing.
Again, the pressure forced
me to write another letter. This time, the letter was going to the Superior Court Family Division judge.
I had to be released from the default, even if I had to do it myself. My law firm was worthless.
I felt that general-practice attorney Robert Correale didn't know what he was doing in divorce cases and I still did not have
any word about my divorce attorney Edward Busichio. Maynard & Truland Partner Joe Truland, who I trusted in the
beginning, completely removed himself from all communications.
I was getting more communications from Superior
Court and my former wife's attorney than my own Law Firm Maynard & Truland.
I never received a response to my above
letter to Superior Court Family Division Judge Miniman.
The below letter was sent out to all parties around April 10,
Below is one of two letters,
where the New Jersey State Supreme Court Office of Attorney Ethics finally admits to a Conflict of Interest.
Please compare the dates of all the letters.
Back in 2003, the NJ Supreme Court Office of Attorney
Ethics said it was not a Cover-Up.
It's the year 2008 and justice still has NOT come
to Robert Correale and his corrupt state supporters...
The below letter was sent
out to all parties around April 10, 2003.
Just as Ms. Miller stated
in her above letter, I had a Civil Case going against Robert Correale and his law firm, Maynard & Truland. At the
time of the below letter, my case was in the New Jersey Superior Court Law Division, before the Honorable Judge Karen Russell.
I brought up my Legal Malpractice charges
in Civil Court against Mayard & Truland and Robert Correale, when I counter-sued them in a lower level of Superior
Court. Maynard & Truland initialed the lower court case to collect on $1,600 they said I still owed them for
the work they did in my name. Using the same docket, I counter-sued for legal malpractice.
On March 11, 3003, Maynard & Truland lost their part of
the case; my evidence won my part of the case. Superior Court Judge Ronald Graves determined
that my case warranted the Law Division for damages. I represented myself PRO SE.
Vice-Chairman of Attorney
Ethics Robert Correale represented his law firm, Maynard & Truland.
I wrote to Judge Karen Russell; in the hope she would give me some
reasonable disability accommodations for my PTSD.
After reading all my evidence
(VA Medical records, court documents, the firm's own invoices and contract, court filed letters, etc.) NJ Superior Court Judge
Ronald Graves determined that my charges warranted the Law Division for damages. Judge Ronald Graves made
his decision over the objections of Robert Correale. Strangely, the court
transcript could not be typed, because the court clerk lost her notes to what the judge said. http://www.americans-working-together.com/id111.html
I brought my Legal Malpractice case up to the law division and lost,
because my case had no proof of merit, since Superior Court Judge Ronald Graves's decision was lost, before the transcript
could be typed. (Both cases and judges were in the same court house.)

It is a real shame that an honorable, PTSD disabled veteran
is forced to place evidence on the internet in order for him to get his Due Process from the government he bled for.
As you will soon learn, I'm up against a corrupt state government. After reading the webpage,
please send the link around the internet for me. I need all the support I can get. Since New Jersey is denying
me my civil rights, hopefully, the federal government will step in. (In a battle like this, even verbal support is great!)
The evidence is clear that there has been a Cover-Up
in New Jersey Supreme Court’s Office of Attorney Ethics, since December 27, 2000.
For over seven years now, New Jersey's governor’s office, attorney general’s office, NJ Supreme
Court & Superior Court and Office of Attorney Ethics are still protecting former New Jersey Supreme Court Attorney Ethic’s
Vice-Chairman Robert Correale and his former Law Firm, Maynard & Truland.
Due to the Conflict of Interest of Robert Correale being a Vice-Chairman, I
have been asking for an investigation outside the Office of Attorney Ethics.
The Governor's office, his Attorney General's office, Senator Robert Menendez's
office and NJ Supreme Court Office of Attorney Ethics all insist that Robert Correale's former District X committee investigate
my charges against him and his former law firm, Maynard & Truland. Back
in 2003, after a deluge of my letters, the Office of Attorney Ethics had their nearby committee, District XI do a perjury-filled,
malfeasance, lame investigation; where they found Robert Correale and his former
law firm, Maynard & Truland cleared of all charges. Correale and his
law firm’s lawyers supplied no supporting evidence with their sworn certifications. I supplied Maynard & Truland’s own Contract, Invoices, along with Superior
Count Documents and court-filed letters.
Robert Correale’s and his
fellow attorneys’ perjury was accepted without question by District XI Attorney Ethics Official Robert L. Stober 973-778-0154.

Maynard & Truland to New
